DIGITAL DECORATIVE: Antiques, Art & Design

23 November 2020

April French Furnell

In response to the continuing demand for all things beautiful and uplifting for interiors, The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair is delighted to introduce a digital iteration of its much-loved Fair. During this time when the physical event is unable to take place (the Fair usually takes place three times a year in January, May and October), more than 70 regular participants will be showing in the DIGITAL DECORATIVE, a new online platform launching on Wednesday 25 November 2020 via the Fair’s website, www.decorativefair.com.

The Fair’s resourceful and stylish exhibitors leave no stone unturned in their search for fabulous and inspiring decorative pieces with which to decorate, refresh or embellish interior and exterior spaces. The emphasis is on a careful curation of unusual antiques and 20th century design, garden artefacts, exciting works of art and cherished collector’s items.

Discover exceptional collections from dealers or tour their showrooms: DIGITAL DECORATIVE is the launch pad for innovative, interactive 3-D Virtual Tours, allowing the viewer to step inside a dealer’s showroom. The Virtual Tours enable a ‘walk through’ of through of the space with 360 degree viewing; zoom in to inspect details; there’s even a measuring ruler to judge dimensions of any item shown. DIGITAL DECORATIVE also features Gallery Windows displaying images of stock for browsing.

Whether furnishing a house from top to bottom, reviving a garden or outdoor space, seeking a fine or purely decorative work of art, or searching for unusual Christmas gifts including jewellery and vintage handbags; from traditional to modern, every style and design period from the 1700s to the 1970s is waiting to be discovered at the DIGITAL DECORATIVE, which will remain online until the next physical Fair can go ahead.

New Shopping Services for Trade and Private Buyers

There is no better source than The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair for carefully chosen, exceptional design items, unusual furniture, lighting, mirrors, art and decorative accessories; rugs and textiles; collectors’ items such as ceramics, glass, treen and ethnographic objects; garden antiques, statuary and vintage garden decoration. For buyers needing in-depth assistance sourcing for a project, the Fair’s Shopping Services have the added benefit of being able to source not only from Digital Decorative participants but all 180 of the Decorative Fair’s regular exhibitors, making this an essential and expansive resource.
