Cripps Private Client hires Taylor Wessing partner

Date: 28 Apr 2014

Amanda Chapman, formerly a partner at Taylor Wessing, has joined South East law firm Cripps Harries Hall as a partner in the Private Client team. Amanda will be building the firm’s international tax planning expertise, working closely with the Cripps International Corporate Group, led by partner, Olivier Morel. In July of this year the firm announced that it will be merging with Vertex Law, creating a new law firm, with 45 partners and 260 staff, operating from offices in Tunbridge Wells and Kings Hill in Kent, as well as in London.

Head of Private Client at Cripps, Myles McIntosh said of the hire, “We are extremely pleased to have Amanda join us. With the increase in our international client base, having someone with Amanda’s tax planning experience on board will help to further strengthen our expertise in this area.‚Äù

Amanda’s appointment comes in the wake of that of Philip Cunningham, former Managing Partner at Brachers, who recently joined the firm as a partner in the Corporate team.
