Caviar House & Prunier launch His Majesty’s menu in London
In light of the King’s Coronation, Caviar House & Prunier is launching an exclusive His Majesty’s Menu in the flagship Piccadilly restaurant, available for the entire of May.
Caviar House & Prunier offers the limited edition His Majesty’s Fine Caviar – a collectible tin of Prunier caviar emblazoned with a Union Jack.
Designed to commemorate all things regal, this prestigious menu consists of three exquisite courses, washed down with a glass of the finest brut to toast to the King.
Priced at £99 per head, His Majesty’s Menu kicks off with Three succulent oysters served with a classic vinaigrette, followed by the much loved Tsarina – a lightly toasted giant blini topped with BALIK salmon, crème fraiche, and 10g of His Majesty’s Fine Caviar. The meal is finished with the venue’s newest dessert, the Sorbet & Caviar. The perfect mix of sweet and savoury, this modern dish combines an indulgent scoop of refreshing lemon sorbet topped with His Majesty’s Fine Caviar alongside an optional vodka shot to pour over the top.
Launched this month, the Coronation edition contains the first Prunier caviar, Saint James. Introduced in 1932 at the grand opening of Prunier Restaurant on St. James Street, this caviar has a long history with London and has met the taste of noble clientele such as kings, queens, and heads of state who were regular guests at the iconic venue. The quintessence of the Prunier caviar range, Saint James has been historically produced with the same exclusive technique to offer a very large, racy caviar containing iodine that is full-bodied and has a very long finish. It is most similar to the Osciètre caviar from the Caspian Sea with its variety of aromas and density of taste.
