Bob Bob Cité which opened earlier this year in the City of London to ecstatic reviews, has announced that bookings are now being taken for its three stunning private dining salons.
One salon seats 16 guests, the others 18, each comprising a drinks reception room and a separate dining room.
The unique architecture of Bob Bob Cité, suspended under the soaring Leadenhall Building (known as ‘The Cheesegrater’) provides each of the salons with exciting urban views including of other landmarks such as the Lloyds Building, the Gherkin and 15th century St Andrew Undershaft church.
Designed by BradyWilliams, the private dining salons showcase the finest British and international craftsmanship and feature colourful contemporary art by Supermundane. The salons are all equipped with a decanting cradle for large formats of wine; Bob Bob Cité offers over 200 wines and champagnes in large formats up to Methuselah/Imperiale (6 litres).
Uniquely, the house champagne at Bob Bob Cité is offered at a flat price in all formats meaning that parties can enjoy the phenomenal Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial from, for example, a Methuselah, for the same price as if they were ordering by standard-size bottle.
In another departure from the norm for private dining, guests in the private dining salons at Bob Bob Cité are not limited to a set menu and can order from chef Eric Chavot’s full à la carte menu of meticulously-executed French brasserie dishes. Favourites include French Onion Soup, described by The Guardian’s restaurant critic Grace Dent as ‘world-class’; Veal blanquette à l’ancienne; Dover sole à la Grenobloise; and Île flottante, which delighted both Giles Coren of The Times and Jimi Famurewa of ES Magazine.
There is no room hire charge for the private dining salons and minimum spend requirements have been kept comparatively low, at £1500 for lunch and £1800 for dinner, plus service charge, to enable everyone who would like to host their special occasion at Bob Bob Cité to do so. Bookings can be made online, by telephone on 0203 928 6600 or by email to email@example.com.
