Aaron Simpson appointed UK managing partner at Hunton & Williams
Law firm Hunton & Williams has appointed AaronP.Simpson as the managing partner of its London office.
Simpson, who will succeed Bridget Treacy in the role, has an experience in privacy and cybersecurity law, having been a leader of the firm’s practice for many years, first in New York and now in London.
The appointment comes as many clients are preparing for the implementation of the incoming General Data Protection Regulation in 2018, including new requirements to notify regulators and individuals of data security breaches.
