Over three hundred private wealth managers and advisers and ultra high net worth individuals were in attendance. Guests included Lord Mawson OBE of the Bromley by Bow Centre (pictured above)and Citylife bond; George Jatania, cosmetics tycoon, Chair of Lornamead and Honorary Chair of the Citywealth Shanghai Delhi Club for wealthy Asians and high society British; Liz Fuller, former Miss Great Britain and now CEO of the current Miss Great Britain contest; Lord Brian Davidson; Bipin Desai, hotel developer and on the board of the Elephant Parade; Paul Masterton, CEO, Durrell Wildlife Centre, Jersey, Channel Islands who works with Mrs Gerald Durrell to help save species and habitats globally. Also in attendance were Vin and Kam Jatania and Danny Jatania also of Lornamead.
Citywealth’s chosen charity for the event was Citylife’s East London Bond – a way for clients to charitable invest in the development of the East End of London and, when the bond reaches its term, get their investment back with the charity receiving the interest on the bond accrued over its term.
Guests dressed up for the eveningin their flapper and 1920-30’s finery gathered in the Empire Room where Neville Hair & Beauty had two staff ready to offer manicures and hand massages before moving into the ballroom for a three course dinner with wine and later an after dinner bar courtesy of Citywealth. Private wealth managers and advisers partied long and hard and many were keen to continue and eventually headed off to London’s best nightclub: Annabel’s.
