Karen founded Citywealth after a career at News International, The Times, and Sunday Times in the legal, financial and recruitment sections. She also ran the Legalease flagship title Legal Business/Asia Pacific Legal 500, and launched Legal Business Awards and Legal 500 parties. Karen then took over In Brief magazine, where she grew the organisation from a buyout where it had gone bankrupt to a successful £500,000-a-year publishing and events business. Her work as a Citywealth CEO was recognised by four New York Stevie Awards: Women helping women (2014, 2015), Innovator of the year (2015), and Entrepreneur of the year (2015).

Louise is a marketing manager with 20 years strategic marketing and business development experience. She joined Rathbones in 2015 after spending the previous 3 years at law firm Kingsley Napley. Prior to that she spent 3 years at Herbert Smith Freehills and previously worked for Harbottle & Lewis, Wilmer Hale and Clyde & Co. Louise read English at Leeds University and loves books. Originally from the Lake District, she enjoys outdoor activities and regularly escapes the City to go walking, kayaking and sailing with her two daughters.

Alison Duffy

Group Head of Marketing, PR and Communications

As Group Head of Marketing, PR and Communications Alison is responsible for the marketing activities of IQ-EQ (Formerly First Names Group) across all jurisdictions. A life-long marketer Alison has honed her marketing skills both in agency and working directly for brands such as Bank of Scotland (Ireland), Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (PlayStation) and Philips Electronics. Alison, a two times Brand Management and Reputation Award winner, joined IQ-EQ (Formerly First Names Group) in 2015. She holds a BA in English and History and a Masters in Digital Marketing.

Kate Kirk

Kate is global Head of Marketing at Ogier, the Jersey-headquartered law firm with offices in BVI, Cayman, Guernsey, Hong Kong, London, Luxembourg, Shanghai and Tokyo. An award-winning communications specialist whose career began in journalism, Kate has 20 years' marketing experience spanning public, private and third sectors. Kate has a particular specialism in professional services marketing, with previous roles including leading on internal and external communications at Mourant and Collas Crill. Kate joined Ogier in 2015 to lead the firm's brand refresh, a project that won the award for Best Rebrand at Citywealth's inaugural Brand Management and Reputation Awards in 2016. The firm's website, www.ogier.com, gained the silver award for best website the same year. As well as focusing on brand development, digital marketing, thought leadership and internal communication, Kate has developed Ogier's CSR programme. Her own voluntary roles have included being regional marketing officer for Samaritans and trustee for the Jersey Child Care Trust and Jersey Heritage. Kate, who holds an MSc in International Marketing, was named Woman of the Year: Business Services at Citywealth's Powerwomen Awards 2017.

Guy is Head of Business Development for Stonehage Fleming Investment Management and Head of Marketing for the Group. He has more than 30 years’ experience in asset and wealth management. Prior to joining the Group in 2013, Guy led the client services division at Heartwood and preceding to that, spent over 14 years at Newton and Mellon, where he was responsible for building Newton’s private investment business and heading asset management sales for Mellon in the US and Europe. Guy holds an MA in Modern History from Trinity College, Oxford and is a Governor of Sherborne School.
