The Launch of “Sport Solidarity for Haiti”
Collecting sports equipment is the number one priority. The objective is to collect footballs, taekwondo kimonos and judo suits, handball balls, basketballs, rugby balls, gym mats, volleyballs, badminton kits, tennis kits, athletics equipment (hurdles, markers, long jump boards), whistles, stopwatches and board games. In liaison with the HOC, Peace and Sport will contact global sports governing bodies, major sports clubs, professional leagues and international companies to collect donations of sports equipment (new or used), to coordinate sending sports trainers to Haiti and to encourage financial donations. UBS charity investment symposium review
Brian O’Reilly, their research guru, said all figures indicate we are coming out of recession “we are at the bottom”. O’Reilly also said that despite plenty of money being available to reignite lending, a more likely scenario is that lending won’t resume to previous levels and consumers will spend the next four years “repairing their balance sheets.” In essence repaying debts and not having spare cash to spend until debt is reduced or manageable. Kensington Palace awarded £1 million Heritage grant making 8 out of the £12million needed

Jimmy Choo announces the launch of Project PEP
Jimmy Choo will donate 25 percent of the net sales from Project PEP. With this funding, the Elton John AIDS Foundation can directly support the pioneering Simelela Rape Centre in Cape Town that was set up in 2005, with the mission to administer victims of abuse with the vital HIV preventative PEP medication (Post Exposure Prophylaxis) and private the infrastructure for medical, counselling and legal support.
